Mayor Arcana

Welcome back :) we are going to focus today on mayor Arcana as I want you to understand the cards fully. Every card has its own message and we will be moving over them for few lessons. Then we will do a break and do something else and then we will work on the Minor Arcanas. First swords - then again break, then wands, break etc. This way you wouldn't get too overwhelmed with tarot and it wouldn't be as boring for everyone including me.

But first some facts.

Mayor Arcana have 22 cards, but we start always at card 0 named Fool. We always end on the card named World.

All cards are showing you the path and challenges awaiting you before you will ascend.

I will focus today on the first two cards.

Card nr 0 - The Fool

The card of fool shows you an adventure. A fool is a person who starts their own journey and path and leaves everything that he/she learned before and start to be free. It's own freedom. You go into danger, but the danger itself it's an adventure that will help you. You stand for yourself and your unlimited possibilities. You follow yourself and you don't care about any consequences. Follow your own self, follow your desires and pleasures, and don't look back. Move from your safety and your own home, to find your true self, and become your own god.

The inverted card has another meaning then, it shows that you are afraid of losing everything, and you keep failing with your decisions about your own future. You are ignoring opportunities, which brings only problems and apathy. You bring to yourself and hesitation and fears, which are stopping your own progress.

Reversed: Faulty choice or bad decision. Indecision. Apathy. Hesitation.

The card of mage is the next step on your own path. From fool who joined into the unknown, you move into the person who learned about himself/herself and now have free will. You are your own self, you control yourself, have much will and creativity. You can survive on your own, and you can force anything to happen. It is also trickery and flexibility which allows one to survive. You can use your own determination to achieve any task and desire you want. Your strong will allows you also to control others and influence them, to get what you need and what you want. The card itself is about will and power, which the mage learns and masters to achieve its own desires and ambitions. The inverted version of the card shows that your will is weak, and because of it, you are creating delays and problems for yourself. You use your will for things that are not good for anyone including yourself. Stay strong, another way you will create more delays and they will bring you more insecurities and fears which are affecting your own plans and desires. Change it to move on your path into something else and move into another point you need to reach into being your own god.
