My sigils are too weak and do not work - how do I change that?

We already talked about sigils, and the way we might use them. If you want to find basics about that - please check this topic: Sigils - how to make them

Today instead we will focus on fixing sigils. I had noticed that many of you are doing sigils, but you keep saying "they aren't working" so today we will learn how to fix it.

Why they are not working?

There are a few reasons for that.

1. Your power is too weak to empower it

2. The sigil isn't balanced

3. You painted it wrong

4. The spirit it belongs to you doesn't want to be summoned.

That would be the most popular reason I can think of.

How do I fix them?

I will start from the which are most easy to do.

There are two ways - spirit is responding but your chakras are picking it up. Sometimes the lesser spirits can't help us, even if they wish to. The power might be simply too weak. The other reason might be simply that you upset them and they don't wish to help or talk. That happens at times. And lastly - something blocks them. Either it is another, more powerful spirit or simply you are facing trial. During that time, your guides can't help you.

Unfortunately in any of that, you can't do anything. You might verify the reasons I mentioned with divination and see which one is correct. But you wouldn't do anything about that.

This happens very often with channelled sigils. Sometimes we mess up the image, when we do that sometimes one line could mess up the whole sigil. How to fix that? The easiest way will be to try to channel it again. Ask your spirits guides to help you. Ask them to show you the image again, or to guide your hand to fix it. Let your intuition tell you, where is a mistake, and fix it. The painting then doesn't take as long,

What happens when the energy of the sigil is very chaotic and if that wasn't your purpose. Yes, you can do chaotic sigils, which will work, taking the energy from the source of energy to empower it, they will work. However, if you wanted to create a perfect sigil, you might need to remember about balance. If you used the energy of opposite elements - they have to be balanced and on the same level. Remember that every sigil has a purpose, the purpose connects with a specific element too. You wouldn't use air energy to create the love related sigil and so on. Use specific energy, to make it easier. Plan before you will do it.

And lastly, the hardest one.

There are a few ways to deal with that. Raising your own power will be the first thing to fix. Check your chakras. Check your energy field. Check attachments and remove them. Meditate and center yourself. Ground yourself and then empower the sigil.

The second thing would be using the energy of an external source to empower it. You can use planets, elements, sources of power you are connected with. Don't forget to always ask the guardians of that sources before taking any sort of power.

The third thing will be asking your spirit guides to empower it for you. Sometimes they will, usually they will guide you to do it.

And lastly - you can use something that is powerful on its own. You could use ancient languages, as I usually do. First, ask your guides to help you learn that. For me, it comes naturally, but you will need to connect with the language and learn it before you will be able to use it. You might find guides for that too. Why do I suggest it? Because the languages themselves hold much power. They can be powerful if wielded correctly. But again- you have to learn then in order to use them. It doesn't matter if these are human languages or not. All can be used for power...

You could also use specific symbols, as a sigil. Or use them for the sigil itself. Use the melody, to activate the sigils, use the frequency - check more about mandalas and yantras, as they respond to the specific frequencies too. Even the wishes and emotions have.

Are there any other suggestions you would give me?

I will actually give you a few of them. The first one is something that my guides keep saying over and over again, every time I do something. Be creative. Play with it. Play with the magic. Enjoy it..have the mind of s curious child and open fantasy.

The second thing I would suggest is to plan the sigils. Similar as you do with rituals or spells. Plan what you need and want. How to empower it. What language to use, which elements etc.

Next thing - follow your own intuition. Nothing is more powerful than your own intuition, which is connected with your astral self. It's never wrong, doesn't matter how silly it feels.

And lastly - don't be afraid of channelling them. That is easier to do than you think. And brings way more powerful sigils.

How do I channel a sigil?

Meditate. Cleanse your mind and ground yourself. Focus on your sigil purpose. Which kind of sigil do you want and need? Call your guides, if you know them. Ask them to help you with the sigil. Allow the image to come. You can paint it with your closed eyes, letting the spirits guide your hand. You can also focus and let the image come. Look at it until you will have a perfect image, and are very strong. Open your eyes and paint it.

Doesn't matter what you will do, you still need to empower the sigil, so here we go:

How to empower the sigil?

That is a very simple task and depends on what you won't use.

If you want to use elements - soak the sigil in water, hold over the candle, blow on it, or bury it in the ground and then take it out.

If You want to use the moon or sun - leave it on the window, and pick it up after it's done. Always pick up before moon/sunrise as they are opposite elements.

If you want to use your own power - hold a hand over the sigil and move energy into your hand chakra. Push this energy to the sigil and feel it vibrating. You can do the same things while connecting with the sources of energy and simply let it flow to the sigil. You can also use your own blood and paint a sigil with it (that works for a very strong connection with spirits too), as the blood contains our essence and power.

If you want to use the power of another planet I suggest using a specific planetary day and/or hour. Then you can do the same as you do with every other source.
