Playing cards as a Divination item? Why not!

Before I will move into playings cards I wanted to ask about your last homework... How accurate were your readings? Probably if you were honest no - not really. The people who do work with Divination might be more accurate. Why? Because the more you use the specific energy and tools, the more energy you add to the tool and the easier it is to use it and be more accurate. Your energy affects every item you are using that's why you shouldn't share your divination items with everyone. They are bonded with you and only you. You might notice that with time you are gonna have different decks for others and Different just for yourself.

But coming back to tonight's topic: playing cards. Did you ever think that this simple item which many have an ok home, might be used in divination too? You can do many things with it!

If you want to write sentences and help your divination with then you might check the decks which have many places for it like the one here:

So how do you divine with that cards?

You mix them and do the same spreads as with tarot. Yet the answers might depend. The playing cards deck I have on my own have two meanings. Upside one and reserved one. There is one of the specific spreads just for the reversed one too. I will explain them all below, as it's something I had learned from my family as a child. The playing cards are the minor arcana, which means:

Hearts (like cups) represent the realms of emotions and feelings

Spades (like swords) are connected to all aspects of thinking and communication.

Diamonds (coins) can offer insight into the practicalities of life.

Clubs (like wands) action cards

MEANING

The original version of the quotes was sort of a rhyme in my native language. I translated the basic meaning of the cards below and you can check it here:

And now I want you to try it on your own.

There are also books which might help you understand how to read this sort of readings - if you are looking for any of them don't hesitate to contact me so I could tell you some you might check :)

That's all for today class. I hope you enjoyed it and you are going to do your next homework: try one of the spreads with the cards and see its accuracy.
