Gems, crystals and stones - how to use them in your spells

Today's lesson is going to be about one of the most beloved sources of earth energy - crystals and gemstones which we use in many ways.

But let's start from the beginning

**Gemstones & Crystals**

The main correspondence for them is an element of the Earth. Yet many of the stones, in general, have another correspondence too, depending on their color, even a part of your body or type.

I don't really think like we have to talk about every single one and their correspondences, as it would take hours. I will simply look into the most popular ones, as I don't want in to be too boring for all of you. But before I will start I will explain: stones have specific corresponding uses, chakras, planets, colors, and elements. So it's always very important to focus on specific Gemstones in specific colors to use them for a specific purpose.

I will show a few of them as an example, as I'm working currently on the table of correspondences for the server in full detail.

And now let's talk about something more pleasant.

**How do we use them?**

There is plenty of ways to use them.

💟 Meditate with them.

💟 Place them on your chakras

💟You can also use them in spells, like the representation of the elements

💟Attach spells or sigils to them

💟Give them as offerings

💟Use them as protection

💟Connect with its energy and make it an energy source

💟Use them as energy storage

💟Bind spirits to them

💟Use then in the bath

💟To balance yourself

These are the most popular uses but you can use them any way you want to.

So now let's get into some more details because I'm sure you are pretty curious how to attach the then to spells, use for protection and threat as every storage.

I wouldn't be talking about bindings, it's not something you should be doing just because and it needs much experience with spirits in general. The other things I believe should be very easy to do.

So let's get into details

**How we use them for protection?**

Every stone has a specific energy that is related to its correspondences. Some are stronger than others and related to protection. So by connecting to its energy you can simply help yourself and use it. The simplest way to do so would be wearing them as jewelry or touching them. You can Meditate with them too.

Personally, I like to wear bracelets or rings related to obsidian or hematite on my hands and enchant them for protecting me. You can also put the stone on your body that is hurting you or have a bath with the magical water or simply drink it.

**How do you enchant something?**

It's similar to actually hiding the spells inside of an item. What's the difference? If you hide the energy you put it on some sort of storage which you might use when you need and take away of the item. While enchanted items have energy sealed inside and you cannot take it out without destroying it. Enchantments are stronger, it's like placing the spell on the item for a specific purpose.

So how you do it?

1. Cleanse the item

2. Cleanse yourself

3. Focus on your intention

4. Create a little ball of energy with your intention

5. Attach it to the item.

6. If you want it to be permanent - focus all your will and try to place a seal over the item. It's mainly done in visualization but you can do it also with wax or blood. Yes, you can use your own blood to create strong seals.

7. If you want to have it nonpermanent then you simply place it inside the item. You might shape this energy how you want already and use raw energy for it.

8. You move it over a candle or incense and activate.

Now what I mean by activation put the item in your hand and connect with it to start it. In the same way, you are also adding the spells into the item.. you cast a spell and focus on its energy and attach it to it's.

It's the simplest way I can explain it, it's more connected to the energy you feel. You might use specific spells or rhymes to cast it too, but I don't find it important. All you need is your own energy. You can also use energy given by spirits, or planets to do the same.

For example, you might want to store energy from the full moon to use when you need to cleanse curses on yourself. You can use the energy of the sun to put more fiery shields around yourself.

Now let us explain how you can use them as energy storage and balancer. Yes, you did already store spells and energy there for the specific purpose for example chakra healing.

**How do you store energy and take it out?**

I will give you an easy example.

you want to balance your chakras with stones. What do you need to do? Lie down, put stones on specific chakras, and allow them to do the work. If you have too much energy on chakra, they will take it out and store it naturally. The weaker ones will be empowered naturally too. For this, you need your one energy, but you can do charge them with other things too. The only thing you need is to touch them and connect with them.

But now let's talk about empowering and cleansing stones as this is something we also need to do.

As with everything you have - you need to take care of the gemstones too. So once you have a new one..we need to cleanse it. Some stones as Hematite or Pyrite are easily dissolving in liquids we suggest first checking if you can use water and cleanse them under it. Then put it on salt for cleansing. You can use incense smoke to it too.

The next step here is empowering your stone.

You can either look for specific elements connected to the stone, like water stones you can sink in water and leave there for a day or move your fire stones over candle heat. Please don't throw them into flames they might not survive it or destroy themselves. The dark and black colors shouldn't be exposed to sunlight, and the light stones might be harder to charge with moonlight. You should leave them for at least one hour, best would be 24h for empowering.

One of the most universal methods is also to bury them into the ground (preferably garden or plant pot) and take them out after some time. The earth will cleaner and empower them, but I still suggest to cleanse them before. Earth can only cleanse as much negativity and we daily create much more of it and send it to the earth of the planet.
