As we focus on the second planet related to the Fire energy we will move into a more negative one - Mars. The planet of war and destruction..but is there anything more to it? You will learn that soon!
**Mars**
Mars itself was a Roman God of wars. He is known to be very hot headed, destructive, and aggressive. The red planet was named after him. It's close to the earth and often influences our energies.
But first, let's talk about planetary correspondences.

So now, we will focus on the spirits connected to the wars and Mars.
The first being in mention is of course Mars - a Roman God of War. He's Greek version was Ares.
He's mainly connected to the destructive energy of the sun and fire. Blinded by rage, destruction, anger, hate, and using these emotions to eliminate his opponents. His energy is very strong and fierce.
But we wouldn't be yourselves If we wouldn't miss a war Goddess in our working. And here we have Innana.
Ancient Sumerian Goddes of love and war.
We will summon both on them at the moment but now we will talk about other pantheon gods and goddesses.
Egyptian Pantheon has many beings related to the war such as Sobek, Pakhmet, Horus, Sekhmet, or Seth.
Sumerian had Innana or Ishtar and Nergal, Celts instead had Morrigan, Nemain, or Neit. Norse had Tyr, Indian had Kali.
Almost every place has multiple Gods and Goddesses because war is something natural for humans.
**Planetary spirits**
Phaleg - a being connected to Mars bringing to people knowledge and grey honor in matters of wars.
**Celestial**
**Infernal**
We also have demons connected to different matters of the war - such as Vine who brings down walls and build towers, Eligos who knows the future of wars and how soldiers should meet. He also attracts the favor of lords, knights, and other important persons, Focalor kills men, drowns them, and overthrows warships, or Vepar He governs the waters and guides armored ships laden with ammunition and weapons; he can also make, if requested, the sea rough and stormy, and to appear full of ships. Vepar can make men die in three days by putrefying sores and wounds, causing worms to breed in them, but if requested by the conjurer he can heal them immediately. There is more than them so I will just move forward. They were taken from Goetia so you can simply look into the book on your own.
But now let's talk with the Gods I mentioned before. Sit comfortably and relax, closing your eyes. In your mind's eye fix the image of yourself sitting as you are in the room. Hold this image, and then see a white mist filling the room, obscuring the walls, the floor, the ceiling, everything, until all around you is white mist. The white mist disperses and you find yourself standing in a grove, in front of a large old oak tree.
In your hands, you are holding a sword and a round shield. As you look up at the branches of the oak tree you see mistletoe growing on the upper branches. You sit below it and slowly chant
Hymn to Mars
Mighty unconquered fiery Mars In strength rejoicing amongst the stars Fierce and untamed your mighty power can make even the strongest walls to their foundations shake Evil destroying king covered with gore Dispelling the demons with your dreadful roar In blood and sword and spears you delight Always ready to win the fight Your power in the fields is also great To strengthen the crops and harvests you create You lend your force to honorable men Your strategies victorious again and again Encourage my work to value inclined And give success with a benevolent mind
A rustling in the undergrowth alerts you to the presence of other life and you turn around so your back is to the tree. Stepping from the trees is the tall figure of a warrior bearing an ax. You bang your sword against your shield to draw his attention and he stares pointedly at you. He demands you step out of the way so he can cut the oak tree down. You refuse and explain that the oak is ancient, a sacred tree that supports all sorts of life and is central to the grove it is in. Listening to you, the warrior first shakes his head, and then slowly starts nodding in agreement. When you have finished explaining he takes his ax and walks away back into the woods. Almost immediately another figure steps from the trees, again carrying a large ax. He also demands you step aside to let him cut down the oak. You refuse and start to explain about the oak, but he ignores your words and runs at you waving his ax. You raise your shield in time and deflect his blow, sending him flying. With an angry grunt, he rises and charges again. This time you are more ready and parry his blow, knocking him to the ground again with your shield. You warn him that next time you will draw blood. The warrior pauses and sizes you up. Realizing you are serious, he gives you a nod of respect and walks away. More rustling warns you that another person is coming. As you wait, you see a large attractive, and powerful man in a breastplate bearing a sword and shield walking towards you. He stops and hails you, and you realize this is Mars.
Now spend your time talking to him not only about the fire itself but also the war and destructive energy of the fire and his planet.
After some time you will notice that you under everything you needed to and now it's time to talk to the Goddes. So thanks to him and once you do... chant this:
Queen of Heaven, Goddess of the Universe, You are the holy one of women and men. The one who walked in terrible chaos, And brought life by the law of love And out of chaos brought us harmony, And from chaos, She has led us by the hand. Woman of women, Goddess knows no equal, She who decrees the destiny of people, Highest Ruler of the World, Sovereign of the Heavens, Goddess, even of those who live in heaven. With Ishtar, there is counsel and wisdom. The fate of everything She holds one Her hand. Joy comes from Her every glance. She is the power, the magnificence. She is the deity who protects. She is the spirit that guides. Be it maiden or mother, Women remember Her and call her name. O Shining One, You stop the anger of all other deities. You care for the oppressed and the mistreated, Each day offering them your help, You are the one who gleams the brightest In the midst of all other deities.
Now take your time talking to her.
Once you are ready you will notice that the sigil appears
Once you will touch it, you will be back to your own body..so do it now.
