In the last lesson, we were talking about the fire element and as I promised now we will talk about the planets connected to the fire. Today one is Sun.
Why I named it the burning light? Because sun itself is a very positive planet that helps us raise vibrations, but also grants us the light we need to survive. It's the positive side of destroying fire, the creator of life.
**About the Sun**
Working of positivity
The Sun itself is a very positive planet - without the sunlight, we wouldn't have the light and life on the planet.
It's the most important planet in our Solar System, that's why this golden fire planet is a place to start our travel.
Today we will learn not only about the planet itself but also about the spirits related to the Sun itself. And yes there are pretty much spirits related to this planet and being deeply connected with the workings of this planet.
But let's starts with basics and start with correspondences
Square
**Sigil**

**Spirits related to the Sun**
There are many spirits related to the sun, I decided to choose 3 of them, and work with them today. The first one is the Sol.
Sol, meaning "sun", was a major Roman God. He was also known as Sol Invictus ("invincible sun"), a title shared at times by the Persian warrior god Mithras. As well as Mithras, he was also equated at times with the Greek solar gods Apollo and Helios, and the Egyptian solar god Ra and Sumerian solar god Shamash. Sol was the brother of the goddesses Luna and Aurora. The Sun God is the lord of light, the eternal illuminating fire, all-seeing and hence all-knowing. His radiant generative power makes him a ruler god in many pantheons, orbited by the other deities like the planets orbit the Sun. The radiance of the Sun God emphasizes beauty, the pure and honest virtue of the wise governor of the daylight hours, unconquerable and enduring.
In the Nordic mythology, instead, Sól or Sunna was a Goddess of Sun. This time you are meeting the feminine and caring side of the Sun. She's named The Bright Bride of the Heaven and sister of the Moon. Her worship has ancient roots and extends far back into the bronze age. In Eastern Europe, she was known as Saulė or Saul and is one of the principal deities in Latvian, Lithuanian, and Baltic pagan traditions.
Today we will summon both of them as I want you to learn about both - feminine and masculine energy of the sun itself.
**Shamash**
Shamash is the Sumerian God of the Sun which was worshiped by the protector and helper of humanity. He was also a judge of humans .. we will also summon him to learn about the protective side of the Sun itself. He is also a fighter who protected humans from monsters affecting them and sometimes is named Shamahsh-Utu the one who helps to exorcise the demons and monsters.
**Planetary Intelligence**
Let's now talk about the planetary Intelligence of the Sun. We will not invoke them, but you might do it on your own if you wish so.
**Och**
Och is called for treasure and wealth spells, being said to give gold and precious stones, and a "purse springing with gold".
He bestows wisdom and raises the dignity of a person so they are honored and esteemed, so ideal for improving qualities of leadership and social position.
His familiars are said to be excellent and teach perfect medicines, so ideal for healers. He is also said to prolong life.

Now a little about Celestial and Infernal forces of Sun
**Celestial**
**Infernal**
There are pretty much sun demons - even Goetia is mentioning them as day demons. They are connected to the energy of the Sun itself. The most popular however is Sorath. And yes he was mentioned a moment ago as a celestial being so why I do speak about him as an infernal spirit? Well because he has both forms. Demon and angel. A fallen.
The day demons: King Paimon, Barbatos, Buer, Gaap
Most Dukes and Marquises also are day demons.
But now let's take our time to make the Meditation and talk to our 3 spirits.
**Guided meditation**
I begin to wind Dow, to let go of all tensions in my body. To let my muscles relax, unwind, and let go.
The tensions are beginning to drain from my body. Soon a gradual heaviness will start to weigh down my thin, my arms my hands, my feet, my legs, my body. \My muscles unwind and relax. All my muscles are relaxing, unwinding, and letting go.
Very soon I shall feel the unwinding, the letting go. Unwinding and letting go. Unwinding and letting go. Unwinding and letting go.
Deeper and deeper... Letting go. .. Unwinding and letting go. The tensions drain from my muscles and they will soon become loose, letting go, unwinding, relaxing.
Noises around me will drift into the background. I shall feel the relaxing, the letting go, the unwinding.
Breathing easily and deeply. Easily and deeply.
Unwinding and letting go. ..drifting into the peace and serenity of complete relaxation. And as my body unwinds and relaxes, so I enter the peace and quiet where only these words have meaning and nothing else disturbs me. Letting go... Unwinding...Letting go... Unwinding...relax...relax... Relax...Letting go... Unwinding.....let go... Let go..let go... Relax..relax..relax..let go..let go..
Once you are in the dark void of nothingness... You see yourself standing in front of a gate. A weird symbol appears on it. Touch it... You noticed that the symbol is flashing with the bright golden light and you find yourself standing in front of the temple. Take a deep breath and walk inside. Notice how the temple is looking. There are an altar and many symbols on the walls. But in the middle of the temple, there is a bright light source. You recognize the temple - you were there before. As previously - walk over it and as you do feel all of the negativity being taken away of you.
Then sit in a circle. A there are already others awaiting you
After a moment you noticed that the sun is shining over a clearing in the roof.. much of its energy. You can feel it on your own body and face. You close your eyes and hear the soft chanting.
**Goddess Sól**
Hail to you who pries open my eyes
With your pointed fingers,
Laughing at my grumbled complaints,
Because the day is waiting for both of us.
Hail to you who beckons from the window
As I do my daily work, who tracks
Are marked on the clock I watch, waiting
For your high hour when I can feel your
Vibrant passion on my yearning skin.
Hail to you who flings the colors
Across the sky where we can all admire
Your evening artwork - you are not subtle,
But then you never need to be,
We will all look up and adore you anyway.
Hail to you who flips me a wave,
A last streamer of light as you sink
Over the crest of the horizon,
Where you sharpen your fingernails
To pry my eyes open again in the morning.
Now talk to the Goddess standing in front of you and feel her energy surrounding you.
After a moment you realize that the Goddess left you. You smile and the chanting starts again.
**God Sol**
Goldeneye Seeing all as it illuminates the sky Lord of the seasons with your fiery crown Self-born fierce god of mighty renown Agile and vigorous thou venerable Sun In bright splendor around the heavens you run Source of existence pure and fiery bright All-knowing all-pervading light Blessed with immortal flames to set and rise Revealing all that occurs beneath your awesome eyes O Sol the faithful defender and eye of might You shine with life and power and light Propitious on my labors shine And bless me with thy rays divine
Now talk to God in front of you. Connect with his energy.
After again a longer moment you noticed that he left, the same way as a Goddesses.
And the chanting starts again:
**Shamash**
the illuminating, victorious, and balanced conquering Thou Shamash, illuminator and conqueror ascend! Shamash, from the foundations of heaven thou, have risen; Thou have unleashed the brilliance of your manifestation; Illuminator, who resides both with darkness and brings the strength of day; Balanced god, who rises forth within my temple of flesh; Archangels of the Abyss, who contemplate the strength in which you bring all. Who brings nourishment to the luminous heavens; strengthen my resolve to send forth my messengers to achieve my will! Shamash, illuminate this day myself who am the lord of my destiny!
Ascend within me, Shamash, Lord of the Sun! Thou who marches before all the Gods Thou who supports the Seven Gods, the Seven Maskim to darken the Moon and cast a reflection of shadow to earth. With Anu and Bel, thou march forth and conquers all! He who established the rule in heaven, he who arranges is thyself! I have invoked thee, O Shamash, in the midst of the great heavens of Anu! Thou who cast the shadows of phantoms Thou who raises the scorpion! Who holds the power to annihilate countries and humanity! Who holds the power to grant great abundance to humanity! Hail thou, Shamash!
Now talk to the warrior God.
Once you are ready you see a sigil in front of you. Once you touch it you find yourself standing in a weird place.
See yourself sitting in a gold square within the circle, whose corners in the East, South, West, and North, touching the edge of the circle. This square symbolizes the power of the Sun. In the first corner, in the East, is the first of the four powers of the Sun, that of truth. See the energy of truth as a golden feather in the eastern corner, glowing with an inner vibrancy as it embodies the truth you live by and the truths of the universe. Concentrate on focusing the energy of truth in the eastern corner of the square. Truth is not static and changes with the flow of life, so move the truth to the second corner of the square, in the South. Do this with the word Thelema (meaning Will in Greek). Chant Thelema six times to send the energy of truth down the golden edge of the circle.
THELEMA (x6)
In the second corner in the South, truth is transformed into the second quality of the Sun, that of will. Truth inspires the will, driving it so that you express your intent on following your true will. Focus on transforming the energy of truth into will at the second corner of the square, in the South, visualizing the golden feather changing into a golden sword, point upwards. See the sword flaming with the power of your will. Now move the power of will to the third corner of the square, in the West. Do this again with the word Thelema, chanting it six times to send the energy of will down the golden edge of the square to the western corner.
THELEMA (x6)
In the third corner in the West, the will is transformed into beauty, the third quality of the Sun. Beauty is an expression of will, your will to be as perfect as you can be, the will of life to grow and express itself, of the mind to create beautiful words and images. See the golden sword change into a golden solar disk, radiating golden rays outwards. Focus on gathering the energy in the third corner of the square, in the West. Living beauty grows, so move it to the fourth corner of the square, in the North. To do this chant the word Thelema six times to send the energy of beauty down the golden edge of the square to the northern corner.
THELEMA x6
you are in harmony, you express the truth as a natural consequence of your balanced state. To move the harmony to the first corner, back in the East chant Thelema six tines, to send the energy of harmony down the golden edge of the square to the eastern corner.
THELEMA (x6)
Now you sit within the golden square of the Sun, with its powers of truth, will, beauty and harmony. To use these qualities you must move in time, which means you need to transform the square into three dimensions. Visualize a golden line rising from each of the four corners, to meet in the center above you, forming a pyramid. As you are completing the pyramid, LIse the phrase Sol Invictus to express the triumph of life in its myriad forms. So chant Sol Invictus six times to aid the formation of the pyramid as you see the lines rising to the upper center point.
SOL INVICTUS (x6) Now you sit inside the pyramid of the Sun, in the inner chamber. You are surrounded by the golden energies of beauty and harmony, of truth and will. Draw those golden energies into your heart so that your body and aura are permeated with the golden power of the Sun. Do this until all the energy is absorbed and the pyramid has faded away.
And after you are done you see another sigil appearing. As you will touch it you will be back into your physical body.
