Destructive Cards. in Tarot

We already learned about some basic cards from tarot..but today I want you to learn about the destructive cards. The next lesson we will talk about positive ones and then about the warning ones.

What are destructive cards?

This is the card that means negative influence in your tarot spread. Some people fear them..but we are going to learn more about them.

The Hanged man

I find this card quite brutal. Yet I think about it as a positive one (of course when it's not reversed). Why? What you notice your strength, you still want to make it grow to the bigger form. It might feel w bit senseless, yet it's more natural. You are strong and you keep growing so you could create a better future. The hanged man itself speaks about the sacrifice. You believe in yourself to the point when you aren't scared of making the biggest and the hardest sacrifices. You sacrifice yourself, your ideas and believes to achieve something much greater. The unspoken question here is very simple - Are you willing to do it? Are you willing to put everything on one card when you don't know get will happen next? The question is yours o answer. In fact, most people get stuck on this part of the journey. Sadly they don't understand that sacrifice is needed. You went over a pretty long way..now the choice is yours. The reserved meaning shows that you made your choice and you aren't going to move. Maybe you are afraid or maybe you simply want to achieve something but you don't want to pay for it. It's why you are stuck right? Deep inside you do know there can't be gain without payment. There is always a price.

Keywords:

Sacrifice. Life in suspension. Transition. Change. Reversal of the mind and one's way of life. Apathy and dullness. Boredom. Subscription.

Reversed keywords

Lack of sacrifice Unwiingress to make the necessary effort Failure

The Devil

The devil card is both a curse and a blessing. It shows that you keep me working on the darker side of yourself. After all corruption and darkness are always around you in this realm. When you get a little, you are tempted to get more and more. The temptation of evil has many forms. It is a soft whisper in your ear. On the other side, it helps you realise one very important thing. It's showing you your weaknesses and the dark side of you. When you realise it, you will see the blessing of this card and understand what you need to work at. Look and meet your dark side. See what's whispering from the depths of your soul. Meet your shadow self and be stronger than the devil himself. Look at the mirror and become the devil which you see.

Once you will meet your shadow self and become one, you will move away.

The reserved meaning is more pleasant. It shows that you removed already all your shackles and released yourself from the devil. As you did it, to gained more understanding and created another big step into your brighter future.

Death

When you finally move from your sacrifice you start to notice the changes. They will be simple on start, but with time you will see one thing - that they were worth their sacrifice. Changes are approaching you as you keep free yourself from illusions and everything which was stopping you from your own evolution. Sadly most people see this card as something very negative or even as physical death, while I'm fact it just shows you being reborn. You become a phoenix which is to die and arise from death to become stronger every time. The same happens to your soul when you grow. You change and it's brutal and hard change as you no longer vibrate with the same people, like the same things or simply change your opinions. With time you will notice that fewer people are around you, which is both - blessing and a curse.

When death becomes reversed it also means changes...but these ones are more slow and stagnant. They wi change with time but it wk take more and more time to achieve what you want. But maybe the slower way is needed for you?

Keywords:

Transformation. Clearing away the old to make way for the new. Risk for renewal Unexpected change. Alteration. Abrupt change of the old self, though not necessarily physical death.

Inverted meaning:

Stagnation. immobility. Slow changes. Partial change. Inertia.

The Failing Tower

The name of that card is very accurate - it shows that everything is falling apart. Very often tower is seen as a Tower of Babylon, shattered into pieces because of the angry God. The tower here is also failing - and so does our life. Everything we believed in is shattered and so is our hope for change. The pain and darkness surrounded us... But you should remember one thing always. You can't bring creation without destruction. There has to be balanced for everything always. So even if the tower is falling, you will become stronger. Wiser. Illusions will fall and so will obstacles. Even if now it's hard and it's very brutal - it still can be a positive change.

The tower didn't fall because it was destroyed ... It failed because the building was created without the proper construction. Without proper care and sources. And here are also our believes in life - if we create them without understanding and knowledge then we will fail. If we don't fix things on time - we will fail. Failure isn't a negative thing - it simply teachers us how we can become better and what we can change.

Keywords:

Complete and sudden change. Breakdown of old beliefs. Abandonment of past relationships

Downfall Undoing. Disruption. Loss of stability. A sudden event that destroys trust. Loss of security. Loss of love and affection. Setback. Terrible change

Reversed keywords:

Continued oppression Following old ways. Living in a rut. Inability to effect any worthwhile change.

So they would be the 4 most negative cards in the tarot. Now tell me what do you think about them?
