Higher self - all you need to know about your better self.

We hear pretty often about the higher self..but what it is ? Or rather who exactly it is?

**The higher self**

It's consciousness. It's like a column that is a connection between your higher consciousness and the soul residing on the earth.

**So why do we need the higher self for?**

The higher self is the first level of ascending for you. After you are done with that, you will try to reach other things and ascend further. It does know all your lifetimes and your lesson (as it's the one who mainly chooses them for you). It also helps you pass your lifetimes and takes care of you.

**So how do I connect with the higher self then?**

At first, you need to understand that your higher self is on another dimension upwards from you. For connecting with it, you need to first vibrate with it. The first thing to do is fixing the negativity inside of you. And he's we already talked about the negativity in another lesson. You also might need to understand what happened to you before you reached this lifetime. Why? Because your negativity is connected to your past lives. If you wouldn't make something to cause it, it wouldn't be following you around as we had explained. So the key to understanding and fix the negativity inside of you is to find everything about your negativity. Then you might look at what else your soul needs to fix. You might find your aspects and connect with them. You might need to fix your soul - the big part of it is also causing the ego death and removing the connection to your ego. Your shadow self also if holding much knowledge about situations and other things which affect you even now. Then you focus on your own vibrations and trying to raise them. Connecting with your light side will help you with it - because everyone has two sides - the dark one and the light one. The low vibrational one and the higher vibrational one. The higher your vibrations, the better. Also, work your way to the balance because you need it all the time. Connect yourself to the universe and your spirit guides. Most of them also know what you need to be doing and how to fix everything you need to fix. During all this work, you should be focused also on your emotions and the illusions surrounding you.

As we explained last time, it's similar to the Malkuth being surrounded by the veil of physical needs and then there was another veil of Paroketh allowing you to love forward the illusions of Maya.

**Can I talk with my higher self?** Well..yes you can. Sometimes it might be hard due to so much negativity spreading around you. Sometimes this negativity is affecting you to the point where you cannot see the truth because you are surrounded by so many illusions.

The best way to actually talk to your higher self is to do it in deep meditation. You need just focus on your own intention to be guided by it.

Your double also is in constant communication with it. We already explained that the double is connecting the soul and the higher self until they will be able to do it on their own. First, you connect to your double, then you can be connected to your higher self.

Other than that, you might be asking for advice over your cards or create your personal sigil for connecting with it. Any method will work. Something that you always need to remember is that by thinking and focusing on somebody, you can manifest them next to you. You might not be able to feel them, but it doesn't mean they aren't around you.

There is one more thing I actually want to mention before we will finish the lesson for today.

**How can you feel your higher self and strengthen the connection with it?** You might do a simple exercise during your meditation. Visualize a mirror in front of you. When you look inside the mirror, you will see an older version of yourself. This is your higher self. You can see the silver cord connecting you with the mirror. Focus on yourself in the mirror and send all-loving and positive energy you can over this cord. After a moment, you will feel that the mirror side of yours is doing the same, but sending golden energy towards you. Feel this energy and surround yourself with it. Once you will be finished, send it towards your heart chakra and the zeal chakra (which is on the back of your neck) and cleanse them. The zeal chakra itself is a connection to your higher self, it's exactly the silver cord that you saw. It's attached to you on the energy level.
