Shadow self and shadow working group

I promised for some time that we will work with our shadow and we finally reached the moment when we will.
Why? Because it's a part we keep ignoring over and over and we don't want to work with it. Some feel scared, some don't want to see what's inside of them. There are pretty much of reasons for that.
This is why part of our Saturday lessons will be connected to the shadow working on the group.
But okay, let's talk about what the shadow self is.
**Shadow self** Everything that you are ignoring, your painful memories, emotions, abilities, and other things. Why do we have the shadow? While we are children, we keep being very open to the spiritual world.. we express our feelings, emotions, and abilities. During the socialization, we are being pushed into some sort of "you have to do that" or "you can't do this" People expect us to play specific roles in our lives and we try to adjust to them. Because of doing so, we ignore a part of ourselves, and that ignored part is pushed deep down into our unconscious mind. This is the moment we create our shadow. It is ways inside of us, that part of us follows us during our lifetimes too. It lives inside our soul and helps us.
**Being ready** This is one of the reasons why many people don't feel like they are ready for shadow working. But to be honest, you never will be ready for it. No one is ready to face their fears and pain. No one wants to feel pain and anger or sadness. Facing your fears is scary too... And that's the reason you have to face it. Because once you will do it, it wouldn't affect you anymore. You are tired of being hurt over and over again? Learn the memory of where it happened the first time. Understand that memory. See it from another perspective. Learn from it. And then you will be able to move over it. And then you would not be affected by it anymore.
**What happens during the shadow working** You might see your memories, feel emotions you don't want to feel, and learn things you never wanted to learn about yourself. But it is time to do it now. One reason why I want to do group working is to show you that you aren't alone in this. It's okay to cry, it's okay to be mad. It's okay to don't answer the questions. But .. you should be honest with yourself. Is this truly what I feel, or it is just a thing I want others to see? You don't have to play your roles here.
**About the class **
We created a shadow working group to help you all face and learn from your shadow self. Let me tell you the details:
During Saturday's self-working classes we will talk about many things but the lesson will be split into two parts. The first one is our lesson and the second one is related to shadow working.
During the shadow working, we will do group Meditation with your shadow or past life regression, and then you will be given homework to do.
So today we will start with a simple thing.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Try to look inside of your heart chakra and focus on your shadow. What do you see? What does it say?
